Obsessing Over: LAKE Pajamas

February 22, 2022

I discovered LAKE pajamas during our trip to Charleston last November. I had actually heard of them before, but since they don’t have any stores in Toronto I had never tried anything on. I walked into their store for the first time in Charleston and was instantly impressed by their fabric – truly the softest fabric there ever was, and made of 100% cotton. Seriously, how do they do it?

At the time I was in the market for a terry cloth bathrobe for post-shower and had been searching for the right one for months. I tried on their Turkish Terry Robe (photo below) and knew instantly that I had finally found the one. Theirs is a slimmer and shorter take on the bulky hotel robe, with a sewn-in belt and deep pockets. I particularly love the blue stripe detailing on the cuffs and belt. This robe is so perfect (and is much better than the hotel robes) I actually pack it with me when I travel!

So after falling in love with LAKE pajamas and their Turkish Terry Robe, my next purchase was the Kimono pajama set I’m wearing in the photos above. Unfortunately, they are now sold out of this exact style, but they have a similar style (and on sale!) here. These really are the softest pajamas ever with just the right amount of stretch and feel like such a little luxury to slip on. You really can’t go wrong with any style as they’re all made from the same luxuriously soft material.

And lastly, I recently purchased their Cozy Robe as I wanted a super warm and plush robe to get me through the winter. I actually gifted my sister-in-law this robe in pink for Christmas and was so impressed with the quality and softness that I ended up getting one for myself a couple of months later. This robe has been my best friend this winter – it’s lined with fleece, has a sleek turn-down collar, sewn-in belt, deep pockets, and French Blue piping for the extra bit of detail.

So as you can see, I’m slowly acquiring more and more LAKE pajamas for my sleepwear and loungewear wardrobe. The quality is incredible and it’s a great brand that your money will not be lost in – I wear all my pieces time and time again. Hope you enjoy this brand as much as I do xx
